and you are under NO OBLIGATION to investigate this any further than just thinking about it for a minute.
Did FLLW ever design a window (or any other design) with a turtle in it?

If you're looking for book suggestions, I'm currently reading The Lady and the Unicorn by Tracy Chevalier. It's pretty well-written and in the style of her most famous book, Girl with a Pearl Earring. The difference between the two books is that each chapter of The Lady and the Unicorn is told from a different character's point of view. I think that it makes for a very interesting storyline if you like historical fiction. :)

like k., I loved the atmospherics of girl/pearl, but I liked the character of Griet, too.

It's a little different from her others because she frames her historical narrative with a "real-time" saga. The present-day story is believable or unbelievable depending on your view of history reaching through the ages. I really liked it and couldn't put it down. In fact when I read Girl with a Pearl Earring, I was a little disappointed that she didn't use the same format.

So, how's the work on his centennial coming?

We've not had any discussions about that lately. I had my ideas, and nothing else has come up. We've got 6 years, or maybe 1, depending on how serious we want to get.
