This is absolutely the first I have heard of this. I am DELIGHTED!!! I loved the book, but everyone I recommended it to did not like it. I thought it was brilliant and such a perfect slow burn of a book.

Maybe they'll like the series. :-)

So glad I could spread the news. I didn't recommend it to people; I just talked about it a lot. And I get an itch to re-read it every 15 months or so.
