Fuu may get a message today on her PINpoint... "Darling, I've got a hold on a couple of things that'll help me deal with my sire. I think dealing with her should be easier, now. Oh, I'm in the Nexus right now. I haven't gone to face her just yet."

Fuu sends a message back. "I will see you there right away, darling."

15 minutes after sending the message, Fuu is in the Nexus, looking for her girlfriend.

Not long after arriving, Fuu will find her with a magical charm around her neck, and a sword with a scabbard, both given to Faye by her friend, Tida.

Faye waves at her as soon as she notices her. "Ah, you're here."

Fuu waves back, approaching Faye and taking notice of her new implements.

"Hello, darling. I take it that sword and that charm are what you wrote about?

She gives Fuu a small smile and a nod. "Yes, that's right."
A short pause, as a look of adoration appears for a moment. "It's good to see you, as always, darling..."

Fuu pauses for a moment and frowns slightly. Right, the pendant should also be able to block magic attacks. That'd also make it harder to judge how well Faye can block with the sword.

"Not bad. Why don't you try parrying it next, darling?" She casts another blade-like gust.

Once again, Faye brings her sword up, trying to angle it and deflect the gust as instructed.

The gust impacts upon the sword's blade, very much feeling like another sword, wielded by another swordsman. Can Faye deflect it successfully?

She does, just about... Her grip was a little loose, though she tightened it up just before impact.

Fuu goes over to where Faye is.

"Now darling, the first thing you need to know about archery is that it's about visualization as much as it is about form. You need to see your arrow already hitting the target, and let your body work its way there."

Faye notches an arrow, and takes aim at he target. Fuu might want to make sure she's holding it right, though. "Got it... Let's give this a go."

"Hold on..." Fuu makes a few touch-ups on the stance and the centering of the arrow related to the bow. "Find your center, and you will never miss."

"...Alright." After Fuu helps her get her stance right, Faye visualizes hitting the target as suggested... and fires. The arrow flies though the air towards the target, and even though it goes a little off course, it hits the lower edge of the target.

"Not too bad, that!" She smiles, a little pleased.
