I was looking forward to reading this since you first mentioned it (and in the meantime I read the book so I would be able to tell what parts of your fic were directly inspired by the original story).

I can't read more today but I wanted to tell you I loved this first part just as much as I knew I would, or maybe even more. ♥ You're definitely an amazing author.
