It is rather fortunate, I should think, that a different attitude towards-- all this has emerged over time. If it were 1878 still, everyone kissing today would be expected to marry.

So there's a curse today that's causing everyone to kiss one another?

[That's it, she's staying indoors with a good book. Maybe a romance novel, but that's about as far as she wants to go with kisses today.]

The mistletoe are a plant that are a tradition around this time of year, am I correct? And when two people are under this mistletoe, they are, by tradition, to kiss...

Indeed. It is traditional to kiss, though usually not compulsory in the way that the City has made it to be.

[Tim is coming out of the shower at the youth center with a towel wraped around his waist when he runs into Tessa. He's still wet as he reaches out and pulls her closer to him, leaning down to kiss her thoroughly.]

[ That is a lot of naked skin right there, and for a moment, Tessa doesn't know where to put her hands, even as he's kissing her. Then, with a soft sigh, she relaxes against him, one hand resting flat on his chest and the other on his shoulder, returning the kiss a little hesitantly.

At least this is Tim. She certainly does not mind him kissing her, even if it is curse-induced. The large amount of naked, though-- that is something she will be very embarassed by later on. ]

[Well he has to embarrass her in some way, shape or form. Kissing won't do it anymore. Kissing her nearly naked might. He's not going to let her get away with hesitant kissing either. He's going to push her to really get into it.]

[ Naked skin is certainly going to work. Tessa has never seen any man other than her brother in any state of undress even close to what Tim is presenting at the moment.

The kiss doesn't stop. Until now, Tim has never kissed her for this long, or with quite this much intensity. Tessa feels something inside her give, like a barrier crumbling. She slides the hand from his shoulder up to his neck, tangling in his hair, and lets him deepen the kiss with a soft sigh, pressing herself against him. ]
