*sighs happily*
This is exactly the kind of (post-COTBP) Sparrington-happiness I've been missing (and longing for) for quite awhile: lovely setting and atmosphere as well as well-captured characters (especially Jamie). Beautifully written! :)

Thank you, very much, and I'm happy that I could satisfy that particular craving, as I was hoping to achieve just that.

Hey I like this a lot!! I think your writing just keeps getting better, too.

I love this madly:

For a moment, he hesitated, then quietly turned the knob and opened the door.

Click! Click!

Two pistols were aimed at his head. The men holding them, freshly awoken though they were, were instantly alert.

YES!! That is perfect in so many ways ♥

Thanks for a lovely read. Write more, please!

Thank you, darling. I'm very flattered, and glad that I'm improving (like a real writer and everything!) as I go. I had fun with that scene, as much for the dual pistols of the paranoid paramours aimed at Will, as well as the sheer fun that is writing Amusingly-Traumatized!Will. I'm happy that you liked it as much as I did.

I like the idea that James might have been Will's mentor. Jack saying 'you know me too well already' is lovely! Thank you for this. I think the boys are enjoying being written by you. :-)

That mentorship was one of the primary plot bunnies behind this story, so I'm happy to hear that it seems to have worked out. You're welcome, and thank you very muchly; I am quite flattered.
