Really, this is how Dead Man's Chest and At World's End should've gone. Well, alas, maybe not with so much rampant sexing (we are talking about Disney, after all), but with Norrington at his snarky best and fighting on the right side. And NOT dying.

I've been told that sleep is for the weak, and through my highschool career I believed it. Then I got a job and sleep became like my holy grail: a never-ending quest for that glorious thing.
I do plan on finishing this story eventually, but life kind of forced me to break out of my immersion in the POTC films and the rhythm of daily mad writing, and it's hard to get back into the "groove" of it, as it were. There was a lot of time spent pondering and watching clips from the movies or even just staring into space making lots of "hmm...mmm?...Hmmmmmh" type noises as I wove a bunch of different ideas together in a quietly chaotic fashion, and it'll be hard to recapture where I was in that process and move forward again now that I've got more inertia than momentum. I do want to finish it, though.
I'd say that I live in hope, but I'm afraid I don't; I live in anticipation of Murphy's Law, but I am an opportunist and will find time somehow, ( ... )
