I like how James has planned things out so carefully (as he would!) but still realizes the value of "thinking like Jack" - I'm sure Jack has (or will) know the value of "thinking like James" as well - this is one of the many things that make this pairing work so perfectly, imo ♥

I try to keep away from the cowering clown as often as possible. I've always preferred Jack as mad and brilliant, letting people assume him (wrongly, but to his advantage) to be a coward.
James in this story has certainly kept me on my toes, by steering the story without first giving me any notice as to what directions certain conversations and bits of plot happen to be going in. It does seem to be working out, though. ;)
