I know a lot of people will think I'm crazy because she was 'just a cat' Rubbish. No pet is ever 'just a cat' they're a part of the family, especially so when a pet lives for a long time. You're entitled to be just as upset because your cat died as you would be if a human you loved as much had died,: animal, human, heck even a plant: if you loved it you can grieve for it.
