The latest round at Character Draw was my first, and my randomly assigned character from The West Wing was President Josiah "Jed" Bartlet. You can read more about the round that my icons are based on here at character-draw.

Answer: Quote from "Two Cathedrals"
Cursive + Black Fade: Lyrics from Mumford and Sons "Broken Crown"
Favorite Moment: Oh, the Toby hug! There has never been a more adorably awkward smush. Quote from "Five Votes Down"
Recast: Upon first consideration, the only person I could imagine doing this role justice was ironically a fellow West Wing actor. Consider this the Broadway tradition: Bradley Whitford played Josh in his youth, but if there was a reboot he would now be perfect for the President. I even double-checked for age appropriateness. Bradley Whitford is only four years younger now than Martin Sheen was when the show began airing.
Symbol: Lyrics from Mumford and Sons "For Those Below"

Broken Bridges (Toby Keith)
Broken Apart (Severd)
Fall Apart (Josh Wilson)
If I Fall (Matchbox 20)
If It Makes You Happy (Sheryl Crow)

AC set: I wanted to highlight the character's remarkable capacity for using nearly identical facial expressions in different situations...something I did not truly notice until I drew him for this round. That being said, though, I really do heart Martin Sheen and his unbudgeable face.
