Ahh congrats again on your little room. LOVE IT, man, I lived less than a hundred yards away from my faculty library and about ten yards away from my college library and it felt like such a trek in exam term. Laptop, two year's worth of folders, books.

What's your screenwriting class? Private reading sounds really cool.

Private readings here involve working one on one with a professor, usually with a fairly specific research topic or on one particular project or work. For most departments you do one only if the course offerings don't cover something you want to study, but if you're a creative writing major you have to take at least one private reading where you work with a professor on a semester long writing project. I'm doing mine in screenwriting, so am going to be working on one feature length screenplay, meeting with my adviser once a week or so to go over things and talk about my progress. Hopefully it should be pretty fun! It's going to be nice to focus on one work, though it's weird to not be in a CrWr workshop class this semester.

(Also, how in the world do you live so close to two libraries? alskfdj I am jealous. Though now I could basically sleep in the library if I really wanted to... we're going to see if I end up doing that around midterms/exam time.)

oh dear, I think I'm going to have to stick to stalking ontd_st when I'm bored and procrastinating, but if/when official movie information comes out feel free to post it/this yourself. Just wondering, how did you happen to wander across my lj? (Unless I have managed to overlook another person friending me recently.)
