Hey guys, you know what I just learned from the news? Tim Geithner is apparently destroying capitalism by not bailing out every bank ever, and then letting them do whatever the hell they want with the bailout money. Since I'm out of touch with reality, I feel like I can't comment about that video. But it really irritates me that they're complaining about being criticized by other commentators. Isn't that sort of the job of the media? The one guy was saying, "Anyone can go back and nitpick," but I feel like that's not something to frown upon. And then he says he'd like to see Jon Stewart without all of the people working under him finding information for him, as if those people mold his opinions. It sort of reminded me of when Stewart was on Cross Fire. It's like everyone in "serious" media thinks that he can't do anything but crack jokes, so somehow that makes them safe from his style of criticism.

I don't know, like I said, I'm out of touch. Sorry for the long, dumb comment. :\

ahh I know what you mean. the media are all assholes (well, what gets shoved in your face regularly on TV anyway) and that's pretty much all there is to it.
