He's sitting at the fountain, idly running his fingers through the water every once in awhile, and watching whomever might be going by. He senses her reiatsu approaching and sighs when it's the familiar presence he's used to. Well, at least there's that; he wonders if she really remembers what happened last week. He turns his head, watching her approach out of the corner of his eye.

Because that is exactly what Aether is doing. He makes several silent steps as he passes under the bridge, only for his hand to whip out and catch a fish that's been floating by without any concern for the water pressure and the way it should slow him down.
If Hitsugaya is still there by the time he looks up at the water surface, he'll be given a curious glance followed by a very casual salute. ]

He keeps his hand raised for a few moments, only to lower it as he begins to make his way to the shore. The stream still doesn't affect him much...
Well, except that branch that floats by and decks him in the head right as he gets out. That must have been uncomfortable. ]
