TSPDT Top 100
I forgot to post this. At the end of January the They Shoot Pictures, Don't They Top 1000 films had their annual update. Over the last three years or so I've been working on seeing all the films in the top 100. It has opened me up to a lot of films, directors, and genres I wouldn't normally watch, some have become favourites, some I regret wasting ( Read more... ) -
Red Desert
This is kind of part of my studies (I don't HAVE to do it, but it helps), tonight I took lots of screencaps of the beautiful Red Desert. I got a little carried away and started doing it just for pleasure. Even holding back I've still got 103 lovely stills. I lost my mind today. I was up as the sun was rising and it was turning out to be a clear and beautiful day... I couldn't contain myself. Feminist Cinema 2010
I've not seen enough films from 2010 to do a top list of any kind (I don't get to the cinema enough and it takes me a long time to rent DVDs so I'm usually about 5 years behind, so ask me for a list in five years), so instead I want to do a little top and bottom feminist films of the year.
