Well it is very violent he is a serial killer. He only kills those who deserve it. But it is brilliant.

He was interesting because he was the only one that could see who Dexter was.

I just watched Dexter earlier this year and LOVED it! I was totally expecting a different ending, but I'm OK with it.

Yes the ending was sad. But mom and I think Dexter gets over it at some point and goes back to his family. That is our head cannon anyways.
