Sorry, that was thoughtless of me. :( This was a letter from the mayor of Boston to the president of Chick-Fil-A in response to the company seeking to open store locations in the city, after its statements of opposition to gay marriage:
Wow is right. I'd heard that some of the cities up north had done something like this, but to see the evidence... I appreciate it.
It sounds like heaven to live in such a place. Here, the churches are wildly in support of CFA, and I believe that some of the towns have expressed support as well. It's really funny to me to see such a difference between two areas... like one is the inversion of the other.
The dominionist church that I photographed the sign... the one with the concealed weapons permit class being advertised... had signs strongly supporting CFA and calling for people to eat there to try to counteract the boycott. When I drove by the one near our campus, there were around 20 cars lined up at the drive-through window, and they had the main drag halfway blocked. (When I came home, it was probably around 15 cars and still halfway blocked.)
I've been warning people about CFA and Hobby Lobby for years now, and some of them rather dismissed what I said. This should wake them up to the danger this country is in.
