Argh.

One thing that sucks about looking for a new job is that everything around me is more and more retail.  And the one thing that's good about my current job is that I'm making more than I would ifI had just entered.

So, if I were to get a new job, I'd have to start from the bottom again.

Best thing I can say is find somewhere that offers incentive for people with experience. I know that, for one, Wal-Mart does. If you apply for a possition where you have experience elsewhere that will help you there, they take it into consideration when you get your pay rate set.
