Well, my computer staged a revolt on me. Pretty sure it was/is a virus, but nothing's caught it so far. The main casualty, though, was my huge firefox bookmark list, which has bitten the dust. No way to get it back, either, as system restore didn't bring it back and the actual file that contains bookmark information had nothing

I am almost DEAD positive you can get your firefox bookmarks back, as I had the same thing happen to me. Try doing a google search for restoring bookmarks... I wanna say that FF does a backup file for them every so often.
