So for 3 full days, Fri, Sat and Sunday, I've been diligently following the dietican's directives on what and when to eat. With one exception my sugars have been just fine for every one of my testings (4 times a day) - However - Good Gods I've been hungry every morning. Oh, BTW - would you ask your coworker who brings all the nifty produce what kind of apples those were? If I can buy them in the store I'd love to do so today. Or, ask him if, he has more to share, I'd be happy to do a trade of something... baked goods perhaps? ; )

My mom is like that--every holiday (including President's day), or season if she's in between and doesn't want to leave things up too long, gets its own door hanging, and most get stuff put out in the living room. I always figured it came with being an elementary teacher, it was a habit she brought home from her classroom. It drives her a little nuts that I don't, not even for Christmas/Yule/winter holiday of choice.
