Wonderful, as always! I was kinda of sad that Parvati wasn't pregnant, but what can you do, eh?

I love that Harry's going to have magical creatures vote, as they should, and that he freed more Thestrals. The ritual was wonderful; everything was wonderful!! I can't wait to see the election =)

Yeah. I thought it would go too much against the story's themes that bloodline is not the only important thing binding people together.

The election's next chapter, which is up now.

I had a weird flash of almost deja vu, when Draco said:

“I suppose you know best about what to do, since you’re vates, Harry, but it’s bloody creepy sometimes.”

It sounded like something Connor might say; it has that same mix of trust and openess that was often Connor's trade mark with Harry in his latter years.

Overall, quite beautiful. I can understand Harry's reaction at the end of the ritual--I just had my first professional massage last week, and it turned me into a puddle of clear-headed goo.

Draco does feel free to be a lot more open with Harry than he ever could.

For Harry, this was like a double massage: physical and emotional.

I love how in small ways you can show that this is a completely different Harry from the canon Harry, along side the big giant huge over-arching differences. This Harry has been raised in the magical world, so he has phrases he thinks like the 'collecting kneazles' that otherwise he wouldn't have. I just really appreciate little details like that.

Thanks! That's something I actually have a lot of practice at doing, since I've written lots of original fantasy and that's one of the basic tricks of worldbuilding. I have had to stop myself several times when I wanted to make a Muggle reference that this Harry wouldn't know.
