How nice to see all these other perspectives. The grief is just wrenching. Ron, Hermione, Parvati... I also think it would be wonderful if she were pregnant... so she would have something more of Connor besides the Potter properties (if, indeed, they passed to her). I loved Peter's vow to make something of his life, how he recognized that Connor's sacrifice was so much more meaningful than his would have been, that he can contribute more by living.
I loved how Draco handled Rita. I think Harry will eventually tell the whole story, and she had better print the truth then, but it was great to see Draco so protective, and Harry allowing that.
Snape's wistful longing for Regulus just hurt, but it was nice to see him thinking about life without Voldemort.
Everyone seems to be going through the stages of grief in their own time. My heart goes out to them, and I hope that they are able to move on with their lives. Because Connor would have wanted that.
Again, a beautiful, lovely, emotionally wrenching chapter, Lightning.
The answer to the pregnancy question is in Chapter 82.
Peter is getting back on track now. He got tipped into depression for a while there, and had no one to notice and help him.
Given that Rita can't talk about the spell, she might find it hard to tell Harry waht happened. :)
Snape will recover. He's doing a pretty good job already, and will do better as he moves further away in time from both the battle and Regulus's death.
I think I'm saving most of my words for the very end of "Sacrifices," but please don't be mistaken-I'm so deeply moved and am enjoying every chapter and every bittersweet word.
People really should start being afraid of Draco and stop assuming Harry's better nature will protect them. It will be interesting to see how both Harry and Draco handle the world when Harry is ready.
Poor Parvati and absolutely lovely of Snape to think of her. He is doing a great job handling the end of the world as he knew it.
And I am very proud of Peter. People would so have missed him if he died. Darn it. If anyone ever deserved to be properly valued, it's Peter.

Nah, the way I see it, Monika choose to try and hurt Harry and others. He stopped that.

Harry was defending himself from attack. That's never been a problem for the vates path, any more than his setting Death Eaters up to be killed was.

Snape is kind of still staggering around and blinking dazedly. He'll get better, though.
Peter will be properly valued, don't worry. :)
