oooh, they have Lavender cupcakes?!?! I'd heard of the death-by-amazing-chocolate they were doing for Valentine's Day, but I hadn't gotten around to getting one... now I really MUST go! There's one just down the street from me... hmmm.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who eats lavender!!! I've got salad dressing, home-made shortbread cookies, candy, and ice cream all of lavender and everyone else thinks I'm crazy. :)

Oh my! I shall HAVE to introduce you!! Lavender is a fantastic herb, like rosemary. It's very aromatic, but subtle. Hehe, I have salad dressing, a grilling "drizzle" olive-oil-type thing, ice cream and I have a recipe for shortbread cookies that I've made several times, all made with lavender. My favorite restaurant down in Tacoma served lavender lemonade. I think there is also make a black tea, and Wikipedia says there's a lavender sugar and monofloric honey (which is all made from bees who got the nectar from lavender). I seriously love this little flower!!!
