[Atsuro's just walking around the plaza, really going nowhere in particular. The atmosphere is so cheerful today! Seeing as how it's Christmas and all... So he figured that walking around would be a good idea yes.

And then he notices some girl wearing reindeer ears? That's kind of adorable ahaha. ..Oh wait she looks familiar. A moment later, he'll go ahead and approach her.]

[Pao-lin turns when she hears her name being called. It takes her a bit to remember his name, but then she smiles at him.]

Oh...Atsuro! Merry Christmas! [Rummaging around in her bag for a spare set of cookies now...] Here you go!

Just some things I made as Christmas gifts for people. There's chocolate chip cookies, peppermint brownies, and gingerbread men. It's only my second time making them, but I tasted them beforehand and I think they're pretty good! [She amazingly managed not to eat the entire batch while taste-testing them. Friends > food -- but just barely.]

[Mega Man's at home, in Community Building 1. He's told Pao-lin where he lives by now, so she shouldn't have any trouble finding him. He lives on the first floor, in room 4.

Inside his room, he has a small tree set up and decorated, but admittedly, he doesn't have any real presents under the tree. ...He's honestly missing Roll and Barrel Caskett a lot today. More than usual.

[ barnaby's out too. he's been out all day, being secretive and aloof, leaving his journal in his apartment so no one can talk at him. it's late now, and dark out (but it gets dark pretty quick this time of year) and he's all but frozen to the bone.

[She pulls out a small bag (silver foil with printed candy canes) with a card taped to it and hands it to Barnaby. If he even bothers with checking what she made for him before throwing the entire thing away, he'll find:

-chocolate chip cookies, peppermint brownies, and gingerbread men with green candy eyes, curly yellow icing hair, and red-and-white icing jackets, and...
-a card that reads: Stay cool, Mr. Barnaby! One day I'll have a partner and be King of Heroes, just like you! Merry Christmas!]

[Ginia is out doing some last minute shopping. Sure, she might have dragged Giles and Helios out with her a few times while she was blind to pick out presents, but there are still some presents missing for people and she's in the mood to pick up a bit more.

She's crossing the plaza when she spots Pao-lin - so cute! - and heads over to say hello with a grin and a wave.]

Hi, Pao-lin! Merry Christmas!

[Yes, she's talking. And don't mind the sunglasses. Light sensitivity is a bitch and the snow isn't helping at all.]

She smiles, in an "oh you" sort of way, when she notices Pao-lin's impromptu antler headband, and trots up to her a moment later.]

Merry Christmas, Kazooie! I baked some things for you.

[She reaches into her bag and pulls out a smaller bag (silver foil, with printed candy canes on them) to hand to her best bird buddy. If Kazooie checks inside the bag, she'll see that the gingerbread people have green eyes, a yellow mouth/beak, and a red mohawk. Or an attempted red mohawk, anyway. You'll have to forgive Pao-lin's current lack of skill with icing art -- that shit is harder to handle than it looks. But she tried her best.

Oh, yeah, and there's also a small card attached, addressed to Kazooie. Inside, there's a quick doodle of dragon Kazooie airlifting Pao-lin, with the message: One day we'll have to do this when we're actually outside! Merry Christmas!]

[Kazooie grins widely, hints of genuine happiness creeping in around the edges of her smile. She grabs the bag in one hand - with more care than she'd usually take, grabbing something - and beams up at Pao-lin.]

Hey, awesome! That's really cool!

[It takes her a moment, and she actually does hesitate, but -] ... Thanks.

[... Man, she kind of feels bad for not doing anything for other people now...]

[Not to worry, Kazooie, Pao-lin's not expecting anything from you. She's not expecting anything from anyone, really -- she's used to not getting too many gifts from people. And that's fine with her, as long as her friends are happy with the things she gives them.]
