✼ a day in the life of a pikapao ✼
Various things regarding Pao-lin in Luceti, including where she likes to go, what she typically wears, and what her apartment looks like. Continually a work-in-progress.

✼ Pao-lin wakes up pretty early, somewhere between 6AM - 8AM depending on what day it is and how lazy she's feeling. She'll eat a short wake-me-up breakfast (like a granola bar or some cereal) before going through some kung fu or tai chi routines. She typically likes to do this on the roof of CH7 for privacy reasons, but in the colder months she does her forms down near the river or (if she feels up for a longer walk or for a change in routine) in the barracks. You can tell it's her because there'll be lots of flashes of white-blue lightning. |D After warm-ups, she heads out to get a bigger breakfast, either at the bakery, Seventh Heaven, or the tea shop.
✼ The middle chunks of her days tend to vary a lot, but at least three to five times a week (if not more) you can find Pao-lin at the Battle Dome, either training or watching other people train. Once a week, as of October 2011 or thereabouts, she also takes archery and swordfighting lessons from blessedbyfarore at House 49 (with occasional lessons near the barracks or Battle Dome if necessary).
✼ Pao-lin eats lunch pretty late most of the time (2PM-3PM) at either Seventh Heaven, Azzip, or Ucchan's Okonomiyaki.
✼ Late afternoon is taken up by any number of activities: going back to the Battle Dome, talking and hanging out with friends, napping, visiting the library (she doesn't read that often, but she likes to check out fantasy novels and comics/manga) or the Rec Center (where she plays video games or whatever other kind of games are at the Rec Center and watches movies), or even just walking/jogging around the village. As of December 2011, she also gives weekly drawing lessons to subsultive in her apartment.
✼ Dinner usually happens at Seventh Heaven, but sometimes Pao-lin also goes to Azzip or just heats up frozen food from the grocery store.
✼ Pao-lin isn't much of a night owl -- she's usually in bed by 11PM or midnight. If she does happen to be up, she'll sometimes make a trip out to Good Spirits for a milkshake or any other sort of non-alcoholic drink.

✼ She does not wear her trademark yellow tracksuit all the time! Her everyday wear includes super-casual, comfortable things like T-shirts, sweatpants, and sneakers, as well as specialized gym/training wear of sorts, like this (check out that ~*~QUALITY~*~ art!). She typically accessorizes (using the word loosely with terry cloth wristbands and the flower hairpin given to her by her parents. (She does have a collection of hairpins that she's been keeping for a while now, especially since everything's free in Luceti, but she doesn't wear any of them as often as the one her parents gave her.)
✼ When she can, she'll hide her wings under clothes, but she doesn't mind letting 'em hang out. For obvious reasons, she'll usually keep her wings hidden away while sparring or training, but she's also taken to experimenting with how the wings can expand her range of movement while airborne.

✼ Pao-lin lives by herself in room 36, on the top floor of CH7. She's such a big girl!
✼ Sometime in the first half of December 2011, she painted the walls of her living room golden yellow with bright red trim, using some leftover paint from the mural project. The three bedrooms were painted in a less eye-searing shade of kelly green.
✼ The two main pieces of furniture in the living room are a black futon couch with a couple of colored throw pillows and a lacquered Asian-style coffee table. There's also a corner table where she's got a framed sketch of both of her parents. Leaning against another wall are her sword and shield and her bow and quiver, used for her lessons with Link.
✼ One of the bedrooms has been converted into a makeshift art studio, predominantly featuring a large table (that used to be in the living room when she was still working on the mural) and shelves of art supplies and sketchbooks. There's an easel or two off to the side, with a couple of finished canvases leaning against a wall, and the entire room smells like paint (though she does her best to air things out).
✼ There's not much to look at in her actual bedroom. She's got a bed and a bedside table with a clock and a lamp. Though the bed itself is noteworthy for having a fair amount of pillows piled on it.
✼ The third bedroom is kind of a catch-all for other things. There's shelves of snack foods and cookware on one side, and then the other side features a table with her collection of weapons: a sword and shield set, a bow and arrow set, two staffs of different lengths, two pairs of nunchaku, a sheathed pair of butterfly swords, and her Hero staff. The last three were picked up from the weapons shop in the days following the December 2011 draft. Prior to this, she just simulated whatever weapons she wanted in the Battle Dome.
