Agravain has left his brother, eventually, on the mansion's lawn, and gone round the other side of the house to the gardens - not that he knows where Mabon will be waiting, but something seems right about taking this path. It's good that he did, since he does, indeed, run across Mabon, and stops short, giving Mabon a half-grin. "Came up to the house lookin' for you," he says.

"I did. I brought my hunting things," indicating the bow he carries, the quiver of arrows on his back and the knife at his belt.
