Dear Jenica,

I am pleased to hear that you are doing well at school and that you found the parchment useful. As you can imagine, those were words I heard quite frequently from British soldiers!

News of the events at Hogwarts has reached us, along with reports of your involvement. I do not think I need to tell you to take care; you have heard more hunter's stories than I have.

I am surprised that van Rensselaer speaks favourably of me; I would have said that I was more infamous than famous. But I have found that the British are not so opposed to science as I had previously believed.

Best wishes,
Marek Červenka
