Deep, huh? It was prompted by this morning's rescue of a baby bluejay from the cat. The jay was just fledging - not enough to have lost all of its down, but enough to be gangly and confused. It couldn't fly, because it didn't have the feathers for it, so it hopped everywhere in the most fantastically cute way. It ( Read more... )
