I'm thinking I'm just going to go the graphic route, but let's say I was to write a fanfic, does it have to be believable or could it be totally random? Years ago I wrote one that crossed Stitch into Grey's Anatomy. It was totally bonkers.

Second question: While Agents of Shield and Guardians of the Galaxy are both Marvel, if I used Melinda May and Gamora, would that work? Unlike the MCU movie universe the TV show doesn't come in contact with the movies, besides Phil Coulson.

It definitely can be totally random! If you think these characters could become best friends, it doesn't matter how believably it happens. :D (Also, I'm for Stitch in every fandom, LMAO. :D)

To the second question I would say no, though. It is the same universe, even if the characters don't actually meet (much). In the same way that two Star Treks are the same universe even if the stories take place centuries apart.

Okay, cool. Thanks. If you're curious here's my whacko story of Stitch in Grey's Anatomy. Just keep in mind that it was written almost ten years ago, and my writing has improved since then. HERE

That's fair, which is why I wanted to make sure first. If I crossed Marvel to DC though, that would work?
