What is the minimum to maximum amount of challenges a guest host has to post? I’m thinking about signing up this round but I’m not sure.

And is there a template for how a challenge should be written? Are points up to the guest host?

Minimum is 1 challenge. All the details are up to you. You can find a sample template for posting challenges here:
