This is all wonderful...except the part about you moving away. Which I understand. I went to San Fran last year with G to meet his mom (she had cancer and I had not met her yet). It was my first time. I'd always feared that, if I went, I would not want to come back to this coast, and I was (partly) right. I have some folks and processes here that I love, but I would consider visiting there long term and coming back for visits if I could.
It's been too long since we've caught up; clearly there's a lot of exciting stuff going on for you right now, so I have really basic questions like: who has the warehouse in SoMA? Is it an arts collective, or more or less formal than that? A whole building, and will you live there?
I had similar thoughts about Austin and New Orleans...clearly an ordinary day in NOLA is not the same thing as being there when everyone's partying in the streets! And Austin kind of called to me to stay and get to know it better - and I wanted to!

So... you might've mentioned this elsewhere, but I haven't seen it: are you moving out there? When? Etc.
Saw/heard the NPR piece, and was so happy for you!

I wish you the best, whatever you do.
