Not really sure what to say about this one. It seemed very rushed, despite being a 2 parter, and I am not sure whether what appeared to be some strange moments are actually just screw ups or whether they are things to be settled in part 2.

I agree... when the episode finished I turned to Pierre and made a uh? face. And definitely not a OMGWTFBBQ-what the heck just happened? face that happens sometimes. This was just a uh?... ok, what's for diner? face.

Somehow it feels that it is better to hate an episode than to just feel like you just wasted your time.

Agree. I have difficulty even seeing a good second part redeeming it... We'll see...

I think a good second part might get it to "passable", but yeah.

Shame is, it's a totally classic Doctor Who set up, they just flubbed it.
