A/N: I need to be clear at this point, because very soon explanations are coming but the mysteries are what must first be understood.
~"...I'm a child of Eos." My phrasing is a little odd. This does not literally mean that there is a man named Eos with children. This means he's a "child" from another Zone. In simplest terms, the person is saying "...I am from Eos."
~Eos is the Greek goddess of the dawn. Zone Eos would be the Zone of the Dawn.
Another example: Helios is the Greek god of the sun. Zone Helios would be the Zone of the Sun, or the Zone of Light.
These zone names can also be phrased "Helios Zone" and "Eos Zone" as opposed to "Zone Helios" and "Zone Eos"
~Most people do not want to believe there are other zones. (Kind of like how people don't want to believe there's aliens.)
~"Morn" means morning, the one time that I use that word.
~The Descent is a desensitization process. It lessens emotions.
~Once again, as stated in the prologue, everyone in Zone PO-210 wear variations of black, silver, gray, and white.
~Again, another fact from the prologue: "P.O's" are the form of currency in PO-210.
~Bear with me on this opening scene. I hope it's not too confusing!
~Please feel free to comment with ANY questions or concerns ^_^V

"Yoochun!" a hushed whisper is heard in the early morn. "Honey, wake up! Come outside and seize the dawn!" the whisper urges in high spirits before it's speaker dashes away in excitable haste. It's the voice of a mother.
The room spins as a little boy sits up. His room is tented with the blue serenity of early hours. He blinks several times and finally when things come into focus he shouts in a small voice "I'm coming! I'm coming mother, I'm coming!"
He shoots up and runs for the door to follow the voice that awoke him. Yet the door seems to stretch away in a farther distance with each step. As he runs, he stumbles, nearly falls, and finally falls several times. Yet everytime his face meets the ground his feet hit it soon after as he's back up and running. Sometimes he feels blind as he's running and he can't see, bumping into many obstacles along the way, hurting himself on their sharp corners. Yet he only ignores his wounds and keeps going. He falls so many times he's lost count and the door is farther away than ever...yet he keeps going. He keeps going! Eventually, over time, his vision clears up, he can actually see, and see everything! The seemingly endless room he's in is still tented blue with the morning so he knows that he hasn't missed sunrise yet! Determined more now than ever, he sprints, panting, his chest heaving, yet a smile of joy and hopefulness plastered across his face. The door is coming into range. It's no longer distant, far-off, or unreachable. Seeing this, tears fill his eyes and stream down the sides of his face as he runs still faster, and he's laughing. He's laughing and he can hear laughter. And as the door comes into mere few feet he sees a light. An awe-spelling, tremendous amount of light. The dawn. The dawn. 'I'll keep running to the dawn' he thinks as he gets closer. 'I'll always keep running.'
"Come on Yoohun, come on honey!" the same voice that whispered to him now shouts. "You haven't missed it yet!"
And that's when Yoochun wakes up.
He's not screaming this time though, like he normally does when waking up from a dream.
His eyes are wide open and glistening. He lays still, his hands still placed on top of his bare stomach, covers kicked loosely off of him as always.
As he envisions his dream once more in the ceiling above him he suddenly feels something wet trail down the side of his face. He blinks and another falls, another tear drop, but he's not sad. Not this time.
In one sudden movement Micky sits up, propping himself up on his elbows. Then he, more carefully this time, slowly swings each of his legs over the side of the bed and scoots soundlessly off, so as not to wake the sleeping figure next to him.
He walks across the bedroom to the sliding doors, silently coding them to open, as he steps out onto the humble patio outside. The night air pinning his exposed flesh with needles until he warms up to the mild weather. He steps forward to hold the silver railing that went around the patio. He lets his head fall forward, hair masking his face, as he squeezes out his last tears and recollects his dream. He somehow can't suppress a single chuckle of joy. Still in a form of amazement he steps back and runs both hands through his hair, eyes still closed, and lips slightly ajar.
His eyes snap open though at the sound of the sliding door. Turning around he sees the girl's, of whom he was trying not wake, figure standing out in the darkness along with him.
"Well don't you look sexy." is all she says to him.
He laughs, caught a bit off guard, "I'm sorry Nem, I was hoping I wouldn't wake you up."
She smiles while pacing towards him, "It's okay, the bed will be there every hour of the day, but will you?"
He smiles back at her as she stands by his side, "If you're here, then you can count on it."
They catch each other's eyes and shyly look away before they can think about it, laughing at themselves in the process.
Suddenly Nemi's tone changes, "Did you have the dream again?"
"Yes, but it was...good this time, Nem. It was actually good!"
/looking over at him/ "Really?"
"Yes, it-" Yoochun pauses looking up at the sky, then back down at the ground letting his hair fall in his face as he smiles shyly, "was wonderful. For once Nemi I actually made it."
"To the door?" Nemi asks.
"Nearly." is all he says now turning to her. He looks down and reaches out, letting his hand slide down the side of her face before saying gently, "This is how I know that I'm close. I'm so close to...the Descent is almost complete."
"I'm happy for you." Nemi replies, as genuinely as she ever has, a smile warming her face and his.
Micky doesn't realize it, but his tone lowers seductively when he finishes, "When this is all over...I'm going to make you so happy, because I'll finally be happy enough to be able to.

A/N: Sorry this was a single scene ("one shot") so I'm just going to deem this 4C instead of 5A!
