UPDATE: Cartoon Brew has posted a clarification at the link below. Apparently, Luxo Jr. the animated character has been kosher for years. Luxo took umbrage at Disney/Pixar turning the character into physical merchandise and selling it without Luxo's permission. Usually the legal departments of these big studios are on the ball, covering the backsides of the people who work on their projects. I guess it is possible to overlook certain things.

You should update more, very insightful posts.
