I think I can relate to your feelings of being overwhelmed. While both of us are fabulous (insert your area of artist expertise here), I know personally I have not had enough experience being an authority figure in my craft. I've been a leader, so I guess that's authority somewhat, but I mean like the level of responsibility suddenly sky-rocketed! I hope you get what i mean. I'm feeling overwhelmed when it comes to having to be responsible for things that I was not previously responsible for (although, I had my opinions and suggestions for those who WERE responsible on how to do it better--aka I thought I could do it better). It's a lot to take on in such short amount of time. I feel very...mal-equipped (lol--making up my own words to describe this complex feeling) when doing things like committing to a firm schedule in advance (since Roeper runs on a week to week commitment schedule), preparing policies and boundaries (which were previously set for me), and managing my time more effectively (to name a few things).
