I can't isolate and praise just one line. I love them all. So beautiful and lyrical.

Also, I feel like this story is the best interpretation by far of the last scene of A La Cart.

Do you mind if I recommend this at YTDAW?

Awww, thank you :)
-My tribute to the fabulous Sara Sidle!

Sure, you can put it on YTDAW. I had it on geekfiction for a little bit, but I'm always doing something wrong format-wise it seems so I gave up on that...

Also on my Got Chalk! site.

The recommendation is up with links to both places.

I really do love this story. It's a fitting tribute to Sara, and I very much enjoyed how you presented her thoughts and feelings on the transitions that she has endured and the ones that await.

And as a Grissom girl (heh), I like how you managed to spin his and Sara's connection is a very positive light--it's not perfect, it's always evolving, and in the end...it's good. ♥

Cheers!

btw...Sorry that you'll be getting two of these comments in your Inbox. Is there anyway to edit a mistake in a post w/o deleting the original and re-posting?! Argh.

I've never figured a way to edit comments either, but then I'm obviously not very good at LJ :P

Thanks again for the rec and I as perfect as our geeks are for each other there is always room for improvement ;)

Cheers!

Beautiful! What a great introspective look at herself by our gal Sara. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

Wow... You just totally nailed her voice through her thoughts on the whole thing. The cadence, the explanations, the inner dialogue was spot on perfect.

And I whole-heartedly agree with Grasshopped; beautifully lyrical throughout.

Wow, thanks!

I think it's that ongoing inner dialogue that makes Sara such a dear character to us because, well - somehow she has managed to share it with us all these years and that speaks volumes (without really speaking!).

That was absolutely beautiful and a wonderfully insightful view into Sara's thoughts during that scene. I love your take on it, and I can definitely hear Sara's voice there. Thanks for sharing!
