i remember back in the day i used to write multiple LJ posts a day and at least one entry a day and that was considered normal.

kind of miss those days. part of the reason i don't actually write as much is because i feel like it's now a social faux pas.

I know, I feel the same way. It bugs me that I don't feel like sitting down and journalling life the same way anymore and I wonder if it's FB's fault or what.

I don't understand why it would be a faux pas to write on one's own journal, but I know what you mean. It think it's the influence of Facebook having started with a limited number of letters and the fact that on Facebook you can't sort like you could on LJ to begin with. I used to look at only my top eight people on LJ when I was in a hurry. Now I can't do that - or I've forgotten how because I have been using the inferior FB interface.
