I was working at HP (in the site they sold for the Apple Cube), in the huge open second floor cube farm, and one of the shocks knocked me over even though I was hanging on in a doorway. Lots of things (computers on shelves, forex) fell, including ceiling tiles. Very exciting. Not much fell at my place, but my poor cat was terrified. She was sure the earthquake only happened in our apartment, and she hated the place after that.
