Live Moving... East?

Last week a co-worker of mine was contacted by a recruiter for a job back east.  The locations were up to the applicant and the options were Miami and Atlanta.  She didn't want to move as her kids and grandkids are all here.  I said, jokingly, "Tell them to contact me, I'll go live on the beach!"  She told them to contact me

Moving to Florida?

I, too, would love an extra $8000 a year. It would be just my luck to get it, and then get bumped up into a higher tax bracket because of it, effectively canceling the raise. But hopefully your luck is better than mine. LOL. :D

This could be a good opportunity for Cw (was it?) who could use a fresh place to look for work, right?

Oh, and my husband is also looking to move to either Florida or Georgia (how ironic!). We are partial to Panama City, ourselves. I can't move with him for at least two years, unless I haul butt on my grad program. But it is a long term goal for us to move back to the Southeast and buy a boat to sail around on the Atlantic.

If we ever end up in the same state, I am making sure we meet in person. I hope you are ok with that. LOL Hey, it's hard to find other people who know the names of the Nordic gods, let alone believe in their existence. :)

Good Luck! You were just talking about a fresh start in a new place this sounds like a great opportunity and you would get to keep your sunshine. Even if its much more humid.
