i just got written up for not having a guy escort me down the elevator and out the door because i was visiting another dorm....i feel like i'm in high school all over again....fuck this shit.

I check my mail this morning. There's a lovely little package waiting for me! I got an 86 on my first english paper, which i thought was good considering 1. I suck @ english. 2. the prof said that they were some of the worst papers she'd ever written and that about 50% of the class got an F. So, yea I'll take a B. Thanks for your editing help, Kate!! :)

doing laundry sucks. i've run up and down 4 flights of stairs about 10 times in the last hour and now that all my laundry has been washed, (3 loads!!) it still has to be dried. grr....

sometimes, instead of helping me keep in touch with whats goin on in everyone's life.. this damn journal makes me miss everyone just THAT much more. don't get me wrong, i'm having a blast, i just miss the familiarity that is Erie and everything that comes with it.

the only thing that sucks about 90% of campus being in-staters is that 89% of campus goes home on long weekends..hopefully all of hte weekends aren't like this..i mean i've still got plenty of people to hang out with....but campus is just kinda eerie without 31000 kids wandering around.

So as i sit here munching on a GLORIOUS salad between classes, i'm baffled at how easy this year is going so far. my math class this morning we learned how to graph equations....the easy way..like plug a number in for x and find y and the plot the points..wow..i felt so smart! :) i hope the rest of the year is like this....
