this is really wonderful. i love "doom" (okay, so i know it was cheesy and based on a video game but KU as reaper is just so freaking swoony) and therefore i love the reaper!bones crossovers. this is my favorite one. it's nicely paced and well-written. and i think your john grimm/leonard mccoy voice is quite convincing. i can't wait to read the rest!
I know, I'm only writing this for the goodness that is KU as Reaper and Bones, lol, Doom was indeed cheesy... Thank you ! I know there's been a lot of Doom Crossovers and I'm really honored that this is your favourite to date :)
Squee!! You posted! And it's you're doom fic! You'd better be getting good reviews on it 'cuse it was awsome! If anyone disagrees with me, let me know and I'll beat them up for you! ;D
First off I'd like to say that I really like your idea. Many people just jump into him being on the Enterprise and don't really talk about how he got there so go you.
However, when writing it is better to show not tell. For example, instead of say he started testing his powers here's how, another way to do it would be to have him keep a journal of his tests so the process of it unfolds for the reader and we can experience it with him.
Hm... I wasn't really going for the journal format, more like a mix of third person and first person (it just don't know how it's called)... It's a good idea though, thanks, I'll keep it in mind.
No shame in being in love with this, actually it's a really great compliment :D
* I'm working on that update, although I've been really busy; I managed to squeeze in 11 word pages for you guys to read... but the second part still isn't done yet :(
