Sansa stirred in her sleep, twitching slightly. She was bothered by the sun peeping though curtains she'd sewn herself at completely different angle than she was used to. She snuggled close into Caspian trying to ignore the morning light and she inhaled deeply comforted by the smell of his skin overlaid with a slight hint of the smell of the sea. But the she bolted upright in the bed. Morning light! What time was it, she remembered being held in Caspian's arms as she welcomed him home and then he had been going to take her home.
Somehow she realised they had fallen asleep and she swallowed hard and tried so smooth her rumpled dress as she got out of the bed and touch Caspian's side. "Caspian wake up," she could not help but look worried. Her father was going to be so angry and there was simply no way he would believe that the promise Sansa had thought he had no right to ask had been kept. "I have to go home," she said sounding guilty. Of course it was day now so Caspian did not have to escort her if he did not want to, Sansa briefly considered if that might be a better idea give what her father was bound to think.
