Okay, so the image of Sam wandering around CID naked is now burned on my retinas... (this is a good thing, but not helpful when making jet-packs out of cardboard boxes with a five-year-old)

Oh wow. Just - wow. Waking up on the police station canteen floor when you're absolutely positive you were left in a semi comatose state in your shitty flat could be considered disorientating. - loved that, so dry.

And then - It takes all of Sam's will power not to drop to his knees and cry out. That's an incredibly powerful, vivid line.

Don't worry babes, this isn't the most articulate piece of fic I've ever written but it just hit me when I sat down and checked out the prompts.

It's Sammy's pov all the way through, which is a stretch for me, usually I buck the rules of 'first person' and shift all over the shop but with this it just seemed to fit.
