Okay, this was just flippin' fantastic! All of the close calls that could have sent Sam to the asylum in 1973, and all of the reasons that he could have ended up in one in 2006, and it doesn't really matter, because either one would be the same for Sam, and it would be this, this exactly. The way that Sam starts to think in terms of colors is just so brilliantly worked into the fic, and just the flow of the story, and the form of the narrative, they fit together so well, it gives the entire fic a sort of disjointed, lost feeling that really captures Sam in this so perfectly. Just wonderful!!

It's really beautiful, I love how you defined everything with colours. Poor, poor Sam... and a beautiful ending. I really liked this fic =)
