I really enjoyed Annie getting annoyed at him, too--so perfectly canon.

Funny thing is, I re-watched the Sting because I knew I wanted to use it in this story, and it had been years since I'd seen it, and guess which detail was branded firmly in my mind?! So, I figured as a guy that's what Sam would remember, too. lol

And yes, Sam is doomed to forever put his foot in his mouth... he's just lucky that Annie is patient.
