Hang on...The Cortina killed him? O_O I just had to read this twice and I'm still confused, on the first readthrough I thought it was a mystery person in the backseat, maybe Sam even, hiding in the footwell. And Gene's next???

OK, so first of all, I'm very sorry if it was unclear, I tried to make it make sense but I'm not very good at that. The Cortina killed Ray, yes. And Gene could be next, or it could be she killed him for Gene...

Ohhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyy Goddddddddddddd.

Murderous Cortina. Now I've seen it all.

Xys, this is brilliant. As Basalt said - of course the Cortina has a mind of her own! And that Gene as well knows it, it makes me thinkof long stake-out nights during which the Cortina tries to make things a bit more comfortable for Gene, of brilliant car chases with the Cortina taking over for seconds and thus getting the situation under control... And also of the Cortina doing her part in getting Sam and Gene together HEHEH

But, back to your fic - apart from the tags, the twist came as a complete shock, and that is brilliant. I too first thought there was someone secretly sitting behind Ray (I honestly assumed it was Sam gone psycho with revenge), but...wow. Poor Ray, though the way you wrote his death is brilliant. And Christ I really really hope she won't kill Gene next!! I mean, she obviously loves him....?! *fingers crossed*

Ah this is fantastic. <333 (Look at me, finally getting round to leaving feedback on the things I've missed, ha. *is rather lame) Gotta love that bit of murderous Cortina there, doing what she has to for the man she loves. And while I can see the end from multiple angles (maybe she feels she has to get him too, since he seems upset at her... present to him, I guess you could say?) I've totally made up my mind that she is just giving him a bit of a cuddle there. Not about to kill him as well. You know, no hard feelings? That sort of thing, ha ha ha.

This was great, and twisted, and clever, and I love it to bits.

I had NO idea what was coming, loved it!

No wonder Gene never wants anyone to touch his motor. He knows what'll happen to them if they scratch the paintwork, or grind the gears once too often...
