Skyyyy. I never got around to reading your snippet until just now, and I really hope you have the desire to finish this, because... wow, what a great start! The scotch smashing, which shocks for a moment because WHY, but then when we realize Gene is a child and he's doing it to spite his father... Oooh, the shock is even greater. And then the plan to meet up with Stu. I MUST know what happens next!
