Notes: I teased Fern on tumblr about Gene!whump. Then I decided to write. This was the result of about two hours' hard graft. Cello, your Sam!whump is coming, this bunny just grabbed me and refused to let go-

Hahaha, poor Gene! this was so funny and just awesome in every way. You did an amazing job with the tripped-out state of Gene's mind. I especially liked the bit about the bed and the wallpaper. Oh, and let's not forget the Sam-nipple face XD. How did you even come up with this?? Well, whatever the cause, this is seriously one of my favorites.

So original! Not at all like the usual hackneyed descriptions of bad trips, beautifully done.

Loved the end, absolutely never saw it coming - and Gene's interaction with his mum was just right.

Also - “My day is finally complete.”. Such a throwaway line but it cracked me up.

I love any fic that deals with drugged!Gene, and this was a double whammy of slight whump and absolute hilarity. Gene's mum with the cat medicine oh my god XD And Gene talking about the fur and whiskers! D'awwwwwwwwwwww <33333333333 And it's lines like this that made me laugh out loud: "He hopes the furry whiskers didn’t see him or Sam naked" - XDDDDDDDD GENEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
