Why I recommend this fic: Gene's gay brother, Randolph, arrives to visit, and takes Sam out to dinner. This is a work in progress and currently there are only two parts, but I still recommend it because it's well written and Gene and Randy reacting to each other is absolutely hilarious, I laugh every time I read this fic. I like the bit of back story for Gene, and there is also a lovely poignant moment in the second part.

Why I recommend this fic: Because it really does make you grin, and it's all about Annie and Gene being Gene. One of my favorite feel-good fics. (don't mind those angst monkeys lurking in the shadows, they just mean you laugh harder in the end)

OMG! I just read this, like, an hour ago, completely independently of this rec, too!

I second the rec. I'm not a huge Annie fan, but I like her in this. As the guv realizes, she's totally grown a pair. And Sam puts himself in the middle of it, as always. And I love the resolution to bits.

Rating/Notes/Warnings: Green Cortina, ultra silly smut
Why I recommend this fic: Sam has moved into a new flat and Gene has gone and packed everything for him alphabetically. He's even managed to pack Ivanhoe! I love this fic because it's slashy, silly and smutty and it makes me laugh every time I read it.
