Weekly Drabble Challenge
With kind permission from the Mods, this is my attempt at launching a weekly drabble challenge. Every Friday I will post a prompt and invite you to drabble your brains out in response.
The rules, such as they are:
1) A drabble is, by definition a 100 word story. As this is a drabble challenge and not a “snippet” challenge, all responses should be 100 words exactly, no exceptions.
2) I have been asked to keep this to a single posting a week to avoid cluttering people’s flists. So, drabbles will be posted as individual comments under the posting. IF you would like to post your drabble on your own LJ and link to it that’s all right too. Just put that link in a comment under the posting.
3) PLEASE try to remember to put the word “DRABBLE” in the subject line of your comment. That way anyone who might want to read them will be able to easily spot the drabbles in amongst any reader comments the drabbles might receive.
RATING: Rather than worrying about individual headings I’m just going to say that any drabbles posted for these challenges might be a Brown or even Red Cortina for content/language, so let the reader beware!
Right then… As this is the first drabble challenge, I thought we’d start with something a little different, a drabble tree. The idea is that we start out with one drabble, and the next person/people to post a drabble have to begin their drabble with the word that ended the last one. You can choose any drabble already posted, even the first one again, just use the last word of it to begin your own drabble. Simple, eh?
Oh, and please feel free to write as many drabbles as you wish. We'd like to see them! *g*
To give us the root *cough*, here’s one I whipped up over coffee this morning.

“I found it! Just like the book said. A swelling near the front-”
“Forget the bloody book!”
“I'm in. Do you want-”
“Less talk, more shagging.”
“Shut your fucking mouth you dirty slut!”
“What the hell do-”
“I'm in you balls deep and your cock's hard enough to cut diamonds. You're mine, bitch.”
“Wasn't sure you had it in you.”
“Anytime, Guv. Have strap-on, will travel.”
