And what do you want to bet that if you looked at ff.net's growth over several years, you'd always see a drop at the beginning of summer when the college students are out of school and either away from their computers or out there getting summer jobs. Not to mention that older writers are adjusting to having their kids out of school and going on vacations and such.

That's a good point, and undoubtedly true! Amazing what a woman can be oblivious of, being a boring, childless workaholic. *hangs head*

Ahem.

*looks stern*

That's quite enough of that, young lady. ;-) No reason anyone without a stake in it might twig to it, says the mother of a junior high schooler who also works in higher ed. ;-) It's kinda my life at the moment. ;-) Besides, one of the things I *do* in my day job is make charts like that and interpret the data for folks wanting to know what's up with the university population. I live and die by the academic year. ;-)

As for boring, hon, ain't *nobody* in fandom truly boring. ;-):-)

Although it IS funny to see how not awesomely Fanlib is doing, what I find funnier is...

a scholarly looking graph...with HAHAHAHAHA as its title.

ahahahahahahaha! thanks for doing this!

The title rocks. And what snowflakeimp says:

what I find funnier is...
a scholarly looking graph...with HAHAHAHAHA as its title.

*dies laughing all over again*

I hereby resolve to use at least one graph similarly titled in a scholarly presentation next year! With kudos to fandom. Who else in the world combines knowledge, humor, subversive sex, and aims it all at deserving idiots targets?
